Our Policies for Clients and Customers

At April Fresh Laundry, safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing both our customers and staff with safe, contact-free pickups and deliveries. Once a pickup is scheduled, the customer should leave their laundry bags outside of their front door during their scheduled pickup window. Our wash pro's are not permitted to enter a client's home to retrieve laundry under any circumstances. This policy was put into place to protect the health and safety of both our staff and customers. Our wash pro will pickup your laundry bags outside during your scheduled pickup time. There is a limit of 6 laundry bags per customer and/or household. We will notify you via text when our driver is en route to your location, and again once your laundry has been collected. There's no need for you to be present when our wash pro arrives, even if you're at home. 

At April Fresh Laundry, we do not service UNSAFE or UNSANITARY laundry, or laundry that includes excessive pet hair. Before an order is placed, we ask our clients to certify that your laundry is as follows:

• Laundry is safe and does not include any bed bugs, roaches, fleas or ticks.
• Laundry is sanitary and does not include any biohazardous materials such as feces, urine, blood, or vomit, beyond traces normally found in household laundry.
• Laundry does not include excessive pet hair.

Violators will incur a $25 Fee, laundry will be returned "as is", and you will be removed from our client list. Furthermore, we will not service you again.

At April Fresh Laundry, we ask our customers to check all of their pockets and remove any items from their pockets, such as money, keys, and tissues before setting their laundry out for pickup. We greatly appreciate it.

At April Fresh Laundry, we do not service unsuitable laundry items such as clothing items that cannot be washed on a normal wash cycle, and dried in a dryer using heat. We do not hand-wash any items at any time, under any circumstances. 

At April Fresh Laundry, if you are a customer requesting your items to be hung dry, you must provide the hangers to hang each item. You must bag those items separately, include hangers, and label bag as "hang dry". If no hangers are provided, as Wash Pro's we aren't obligated to provide hangers and/or hang dry those items. Those items will be laid flat to dry and then folded once dried. Typically, we dot provide hangers, however, if we have hangers available and decide to provide them, there is a $1 charge per hanger we provide. 

At April Fresh Laundry, our pricing is competitive and affordable. We offer a guaranteed flat-rate of $2.50 per pound of laundry, with a $25 minimum order. We also offer discounts for regular customers and WashClub Members.

At April Fresh Laundry, we require our customers to pay an upfront minimum-order-fee of $25, which is due at time of booking. This fee is Non-Refundable, and will be deducted from the final cost of services. Due to the nature of your laundry having to be weighed to determine the total cost of service, we will notify you when your Wash and Fold service is complete, and you'll be given a Secure Online Pay Link sent via SMS (Text) to pay for the services rendered. Your order must be paid in full before we can schedule it for delivery.

At April Fresh Laundry, our wash pro's rely heavily on tips to help supplement the income they make off providing you with top-quality laundry services. Tipping should always be done online and never in person. When your laundry service is complete, and you receive your Secure Online Payment Link to pay for your services, there is an option to add a tip. If your wash pro did an exceptional job with your laundry, then please don't forget to tip. We greatly appreciate it.

At April Fresh Laundry, if a customer refuses to pay, we reserve the right to hold your order up to 14 business days. If a customer refuses to pay for their laundry services after 14 days, the unpaid laundry is then released and delivered back to the customer. Furthermore, you will be removed from our customer list and you will not be serviced again. We may also choose to legally seek payment from you in small claims court.

At April Fresh Laundry, we typically offer next-day turnaround times on our Wash and Fold laundry services. However, if there's a large order, we may offer a two-day turnaround time. We will keep you posted either way.
